What is The Prospect Exchange?
The Prospect Exchange is the future of scouting and recruiting. We watch player games and provide video and game analytics for Coaches/Scouts across North America to identify and evaluate players. In addition, we give both Players and Coaches/Scouts the ability to contact each other, which is critical in providing players the exposure needed to find the right team to advance.
Who we are?

How are you different from Instat and Iceberg?
We’re glad you asked! Both are terrific ways for coaches to collect shift and stats to help them coach their teams and maybe even develop you as a player. But neither platform will help you gain exposure or establish contact with coaches and scouts at the level you want to play at. Neither platform allows you to advance your career by sharing your profile with coaches and scouts at that next level. TPE has built the only platform that gives coaches and scouts an objective look at your entire game rather than highlight videos, which coaches will ignore anyway.
How can Coaches use The Prospect Exchange?
As a coach you can identify and recruit players directly from the platform. All for free! Watch shift videos, check out stats from games, and email kids directly right from our platform. Our platform is free to use for all coaches and scouts affiliated with a team, regardless of level.
How can Players use The Prospect Exchange?
As a player you can gain exposure by uploading videos of your game, getting them analyzed by our team of professionals and then contact coaches directly. Coaches will then view your profile, watch your shifts, check out your stats, and let you know if they’re interested in continuing the discussion. Where do I get the video from?
There are a number of ways for you to get game video. If your games are located on sites like HockeyTV, you can download them from there. Some teams use services like Instat and Iceberg to collect video and stats. Simply take the shift video they provide you and upload it directly to our servers. Lastly, any parent or helper can film games on their device and upload it directly to our servers.

Who owns the videos?
The videos belong to the player that uploaded them. We simply provide some video and statistical breakdown for coaches and scouts to view, free of charge.
